Sorry Lynn ,well you know what to do if you have problem with new 1 .Heres where I think the problem comes from. The vacuum line is not a steady vacuum because of 1 cylinder it actually causes the piece in the petcock to fluctuate ,rather then just holding it open leading to premature failure I rather prefer the gravity method aka prime position but like to know I have a reserve .NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN LYNN
